As you may have noticed, I have been conspicuously absent for well on a month now.  Let me explain myself, as I have not just done the “typical” (in that it’s not actually typical, but people think it is) cam girl thing of just disappearing and giving no explanation.

My personal, off-cam life has been… Not so great, too say the least.

First, I experienced trouble with my computer, leading to its eventual complete failure.  The hard drive and most of the components are okay, but the repairs will cost me almost $1200.  That’s money I don’t have, because just before that happened, I found myself facing a large amount of unforeseen financial problems.  Nothing like “I owe drug money” (I don’t do drugs, don’t ask) or “I made poor financial decisions” — no, it’s mundane, stupid, happens to everyone crap that all just happened to happen at the same time, when my finances are already tight.

On top of that there have been two deaths in my immediate circle – one a friend, one a family member.  I appreciate your condolences, but please don’t give me your pity.  Death is a part of life, and while it hurts when those we love are taken from us suddenly, it can happen to any of us.  I am grieving in my own way.  My friend was a good man.  My relative lived a long and happy life.  I miss them both.

Finally, the question you’ve all been waiting to have answered:  Yes, I will be back on cam as soon as possible.  My computer situation has basically put my camming on hold for the foreseeable future, so until I either procure a cam that works with my gaming machine (an older windows box, hand-built) or get my laptop fixed (see $1200 above, sigh) I cannot work, and since I cannot work, I cannot get the money to fix my computer, so I cannot work, so I can’t fix my computer, so… You get the picture.

On top of all of this, I am ill again — bronchitis.  Yeah, the world really knows how to kick a girl when she’s down, right?

Anyhow, that’s the rundown.  I thank you all for your support, your sympathy, your patience and your continuing desire to know how I’m doing.  It means a lot to me, you guys.  Thanks.

And since I’m not above asking, if you are wondering how you can help… I don’t know.  Sorry.  If you’ve somehow got ideas, please contact me – vanessajadex@gmail.com.  The only thing I can think of is perhaps those visa gift cards which I can use to fix my computer.  Barring that, if you just want to cheer me up, just write me a e-mail of encouragement.  You are more than welcome to send a gift, which would cheer me up tons, but please — your thoughts and words are more than enough.

Wow, it’s been a little bit, huh?  April has been super busy for me and I’ve barely had any time to think much less get on cam and play around.  But, everybody’s gotta work for a living so I’ll be back this week and going forward!  I’m super excited to be back, after being sick and then having a million billion things to do…  I love that I’ve got a profession that allows me to take time to get shit done when I need to, though.
